Guidelines to Authors/Contributors
Manuscript Submission: Manuscripts and all editorial correspondence should be addressed to:
The Editor, The Business Review, Journal of School of Business Studies, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, 190006 (e-mail: editortbr.sbs@uok.edu.in;deansbs@uok.edu.in).
All submissions should be made electronically, as e-mail attachment, using Microsoft Word.
Format of Manuscripts: All articles should be prepared in Microsoft Word using Times New Roman, font size 12 with 1.5 spacing throughout (not only the text but also displayed quotations, tables, notes, references and any other matter). The text of manuscripts should be in between 4,000-5000 words. All articles must be accompanied by an abstract of 150–200 words and up to 4-5 keywords. Book reviews must contain the name of the author/editor and the book reviewed, place of publication and publisher, date of publication, number of pages and price.
The Guidelines:
- Contributors must provide their affiliation; complete postal and e-mail addresses, contact numbers with their articles.
- It is the author’s responsibility to disclose any potential conflict of interest regarding the manuscript.
- Manuscript should be checked for spellings and grammar.
- The manuscript file should not contain author details or any identifying information.
- Each figure and table should have a heading, an explanatory caption if necessary and a source or reference.
- Endnotes should be numbered serially and presented at the end of the article. Notes must contain more than a mere reference(s).
- Undertaking format to the effect that work is original and has not been submitted for publication anywhere be given as per the following format.

Under Taking
Permissions and releases: Material taken directly from a copyrighted source, including a website should be clearly identified and duly acknowledged. Moreover, obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material and the payment thereof is the author’s sole responsibility.
Citations and references: Guidelines specified in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) must be followed.
Paper Structure: A submitted paper should normally follow the following structure:
- Abstract
- Introduction
- Review of Literature
- Research Methodology
- Analysis & Discussion
- Conclusion & Suggestions
- References
However, in case of review papers and book reviews, authors need not to follow above structure.
