Dear Readers,

Welcome to the School of Business Studies!

As the Dean of this vibrant institution, it is my pleasure to extend a warm greeting to students, scholars, faculty, alumni, and visitors. Our school comprises of four dynamic departments at main campus viz; Management Studies, Economics, Commerce, and Tourism, Hospitality & Leisure Studies and two departments of Management Studies at North and South campuses. All these departments are contributing uniquely to the landscape of business education.

The business world is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by technological advancements, globalization, and shifting consumer expectations. In this dynamic environment, traditional business practices are evolving and adaptability has become essential. At the School of Business Studies, we are committed to equipping our students with the skills and knowledge necessary to confront these challenges. Our curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, digital literacy and innovative problem-solving, ensuring that our graduates are not only prepared for today’s marketplace but are also visionary leaders of tomorrow.

Our dedicated faculty members are not only passionate educators but also seasoned professionals and researchers, bringing a wealth of experience and insight to the classroom. They are committed to mentoring our students, inspiring them to achieve their academic and professional goals. The faculty is exhaustively contributing to emerging fields of businesses. They are actively engaged in diverse research projects thereby bridging gap between the academic and business world.

We recognize the importance of collaboration and real-world experience, which is why we emphasize partnerships with industry leaders and community organizations. Our students have numerous opportunities to engage in internships, workshops and projects that enhance their learning and prepare them for successful careers.

As we move forward, we remain dedicated to promoting inclusivity and diversity within our programs. We believe that a variety of perspectives proffer enriched learning experiences and foster a more holistic understanding of global business challenges.

We are delighted to share that our journal, The Business Review, which features a diverse array of research in the fields of business and management has been listed in UGC Care Group of Journals. This scholarly journal is published twice a year and aims to tackle the issues faced by decision-makers in organizations, regardless of their size or ownership structure. Our objective is to cater to the needs of academics, scholars, practitioners, and policymakers. We hope this journal proves to be a valuable asset for your research and practice.
